After our tour of the Mount Stewart House we set off to wander around the grounds. Lady Londonderry obviously had a passion for plants and the National Trust has worked to maintain the formal gardens she set up. The mild climate of Strangford Lough has meant that rare plants from across the globe can thrive in this famous garden.
